Nice replacement strap for Komono Winston Galore Walnut Herringbone
I have a Komono Winston Galore Walnut Herringbone watch. The original strap had two different parts: One part herringbone, the other part plain leather. I combined this one with a plain leather strap, to replace my worn one. So now I have two complementary replacement straps for the watch. Would be also nice, if one could buy this combination as one strap, so you needn't buy two of them. Straps look well worked. Let's see how long they last.
Looks great, a bit stiff at first
I’ve added the strap to a lightly modded (domed sapphire crystal), black dial, Seiko SNK809. It suits the watch well and is an attractive, and quite unique, strap. The strap is stiff at first, though it is starting to soften. It is also on the shorter side for this relatively small watch and my 19cm (7.5 inch) wrist - I’m on about the third last hole in the strap, which leaves just enough to be tucked in the keeper.
Unique and eye catching
Hadn’t seen these before but totally suits my 1940’s Breitling … love the result
