I would class the Sydney Strap Co. Tropic as the best value for money tropic strap on the market for Australians at the moment, especially when adding in current exorbitant shipping prices from some of the big names in the US and Europe. The strap itself is soft and comfortable, more so than many other tropic straps on the market. The FKM rubber isn't quite as soft as silicone, but also isn't a dust magnet like silicone, and the strap contours to the wrist nicely, and is not too thick like many other straps (although this may affect longevity and robustness - have to wait and see). Highly recommended, and will likely buy another. Worn on Seiko SPB143 for the last month.
The quality of the materials and build are great. The strap is comfortable and elevates the look of a watch while still retaining the functionality and convenience of a rubber or silicone strap. However, the strap needs a second keeper to hold the strap down. Without this, the strap either sticks out and catches on clothing or slips out of its keeper if worn to accommodate this. Would be a perfect strap otherwise.
Perfect fit for my SPB-143J
Could do with being a tad thicker but soft and wears well.
