The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

I just wished I'd have ordered more colours

I recently purchased two Chelsea quick release straps in black and light brown. The detail and finish are excellent, the contrasting stitching and stainless steel buckle really set the watches off. The fit is spot on as is the comfort, the price was very competitive for the quality. I hesitated in buying additional colours, as I wanted to see the quality first. I had nothing to worry about, I just wished I'd have ordered more colours. I'll have to go back for the green now and maybe a bracelet as well....
