The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

We've sourced certified Harris Tweed®, a world-famous classic cloth made of 100% pure new wool to craft a range of exceptional and timeless watch straps. Harris Tweed® is handwoven only by the islanders of the Outer Hebrides of Scotland at their homes. Harris Tweed® is an artisanal luxury cloth that will complement your watch in the most unique way.

Our Harris Tweed® watch bands feature quick release spring bars for easy strap changes, are hand-stitched and are complemented by a soft breathable cowhide lining stamped with The Sydney Strap Co branding.

A lovely strap

This is a really lovely strap, which gives the watch a “smart casual” look. Very comfortable and has quick release. Am thinking of getting the brown herringbone for another watch.
