The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

Released in 2021, our sailcloth watch bands will dress up your watch with nautical style. Constructed out of sailcloth print pvc material, these bands feature high water resistance. Our sailcloth straps are constructed with quick release spring bars, making it a breeze to interchange your band. These bands are padded at the lug end (3mm thick), tapering down to 2mm thickness.

Great value, great service

I've put this strap onto an Omega-Swatch moon watch and it suits the style of the watch perfectly. I've never seen the small lugs that protrude through the strap before. These make installing the strap so easy. Great value for money strap and delivery was very quick.

Great strap for the price, looks great on the BB58. Takes about a few days to break in but once broken in very comfortable on the wrist.

Another good strap from the Sydney Strap Co

I recently wanted a strap that could be used during activities and personally find rubber too sweaty. Having been impressed with earlier straps from the SSC I decided to get the sailcloth strap. Several reviews had suggested that the sailcloth strap was quite stiff to begin with but soon loosened up. This is what I found - stiff but not uncomfortable. However, after cycling around Japan with it strapped to my wrist it has softened significantly and is now extremely comfortable. I jumped in the ocean several times during the trip and am very pleased I chose this strap. Well done SSC.
