The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

TACTICAL GUERILLA ONE PIECE

I've been wearing Sydney Strap Co.'s classic NATO straps for years and find them rugged, reliable and good value for money. Thought I'd step up to the tactical range and haven't been disappointed. It's so much more comfortable on the wrist and oftentimes I forget I've got my watch on. It's also easier to tuck the excess band away, without bulking up the watch too much. I have to say, I like the rugged ribbed look of the classics more than the glossy finish on the tactical, but it's growing on me. And I think the extra comfort is worth it.

Darned good strap

FKM RUBBER QUICK RELEASE - BLACK

The FKM rubber strap was bought to pair with my Sinn 104 and utilise its 200m water resistance to the max. This strap was the perfect match for my watch and has been dunked in the surf countless times since. No chipping/ fading and doubles up as my daily wear at work too. I did find the quick release spring bars a bit thin and delicate, but it has stood the test despite my misgivings. Overall, a good strap for the price.

Our Daytona range are the perfect match up for your racing chronograph watch (think Heuer Autavia!), pairing well with a range of watch options. These are arguably our highest quality constructed strap yet, with the leather tanned within the finest tanneries in Spain, servicing global designer brands like Hermes. The leather band is constructed from a high quality top grain leather, including the antisweat lining! Top grain leather is the strongest and most durable part of the hide, and develops a beautiful patina as it ages with care. We've coupled this band with a largish (but not too wide) 316L quality polished stainless steel buckle (smaller than our Italian range)

Nice strap

I like the quality of this strap, and the style, there was however, some sort of obstruction in one of the holes where you put the spring bars through, I could not get the spring bar through the hole. Nothing a small drill bit couldn't fix, luckily I didn't damage the strap.... or my finger.
