The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

A Good Strap. A great experience.

The guys at Sydney Strap Co. we're lovely, got it dispatched and at my door (Perth) in 3 days. The strap does it's job well, a good size, good hardware and a sleek look. My only slight hindrance is that certain parts of the stitching, particularly underneath the buckles are a tad rough and do irritate the skin at first, but nothing major. And for the price, I shouldn't be complaining. Overall, very satisfied with my first NATO. Definitely keeping these guys in mind.
