The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

Fantastic strap

I’ve been wearing this strap with my Vintage Rolex Datejust 1603 and honestly I’ve been loving it. The quality of the leather is suburb and colouring of the brown is rustic yet elegant. I definitely recommend this strap and will be buying more from Sydney Strap Co!

Great, but...

Although the band is clearly marked as 20mm, it leaves 1-2mm of space on my watch with 20mm lugs. So, a great looking, soft (and will break in nicely), band. But I think it's slightly too small. Only slightly.

My favourite leather strap.

I often purchase straps from Sydney Strap Co. I've been very happy with everything I've received. Both from a price point of view, and quality. I love this particular strap. Super comfortable and soft. I've put it on a couple of my black divers, and really love the look. Currently waiting on another couple of straps to arrive in the post. 30% off and free postage made them even better value too!
