The strap width in respect to it's use on our website, always refers to the width of the strap at the end that connects to the watch, the spring bar or LUG end of a watch. We reference this end, as this is critical in selecting the correct width strap for your watch.

The width of the strap you select, should always match up with the distance between the LUG's on your watch case (refer image below). You can usually locate the width of your watch LUG's on the manufacturer's or retailer's website from where you purchased your watch. Alternatively, (and probably quicker) simply measure the distance with a ruler (again refer image below).

Another great strap

Purchase and shipping was flawless, as usual. Quality is perfect. Colour of the leather is accurate to the Omega Speedy photo on wrist photo. Nice work Sydney Strap Co.

Damn Good

The leather feels like really good quality, nice buckles and fit is very comfy. Only issue I have is the buckles being a tad bulkier than the pictures might suggest but not a deal-breaker at all. Overall, great buy.

Great Comfort and fit

I have a few nylon straps from Sydney Strap Co, and happy to add the leather option to the collection. Looks especially great on my bronze steinhart ocean one. The strap arrived within a few days. Fits great, and is really comfortable. Replaced the strap I bought relatively cheap from a big online retailer. Clearly, it's worth it to go with an outfit that specializes in straps because they straps they make are just a notch above anything else.
